It’s scheduled for May 13, 2025 (or from April 13, 2025, to May 12, 2025, for overseas voters), and its importance lies in determining the future of the 12 senators originally elected in 2019.
These senators will play a vital role in shaping the country’s laws and policies until June 30, 2031.
Additionally, they will work alongside the senators elected in 2022, who will serve until June 30, 2028, together forming the Senate’s delegation to the 20th Congress of the Philippines.
